On June 29, 2022, North Carolina Campus Engagement launched. Over 70 individuals attended two launch parties at High Point University and NC State University. It was a day of celebration and reflection as we honored the past and stepped into a bold new future. The agenda included games, a photo booth, unveiling of the new Vision 2025, and remarks from special guests:
- Dr. Nido R. Qubein, president of High Point University
- President Dan Lugo, Queens University of Charlotte and NCCE Executive Board member
- Chancellor Kelli R. Brown, Western Carolina University, NCCE Executive Board Chair Dr. Kwesi Brookins, Interim Vice Provost, University Outreach and Engagement & Director of the Center for Family and Community Engagement, NC State University
- Dr. Angela Bauer, Vice President of Academic Affairs, High Point University
- Dr. Smith Jackson, retired Vice President of Student Affairs, Elon University, NC Campus Compact host site champion
- John Barnhill, Associate Vice President for University Advancement, Elon University, former NC Campus Compact Executive Director (2002-2008)
- Dr. Lisa Keyne, former NC Campus Compact Executive Director (2006-2015)

We also announced the beginning of the 20/20 Vision Fundraising Campaign where we are inviting our friends and stakeholders to build our special interest endowment by donating $20 to honor the past and $20 to invest in the future.
