Presidential Engagement
NCCE is a presidential organization. We know college and university leaders play a key role in developing and institutionalizing higher education community engagement. We annually invite the president or chancellor to join on behalf of their institution and then we work with relevant campus constituents to provide resources and support. Our work is guided by an Executive Board comprised of member presidents.
Engaged Leader Video Series
In 2015, we launched the Engaged Leader Video Series to showcase members of our Executive Board discussing the value of higher education community and civic engagement, as well as NC Campus Engagement membership.
Lambert Engaged Leader Award
The Lambert Engaged Leader Award recognizes a presidential leader who is building a campus that engages in reciprocal partnerships to impact a community’s greatest challenges.
Presidents Forum
Since 2011, NCCE has convened presidents and chancellors to discuss key issues related to higher education civic and community engagement. The Presidents Forum is hosted by a member president and chancellor on their campus or by the NCCE Executive Board. It is typically held on the same day as the PACE Conference.
