Since 2002, NCCE has disseminated over $500,000 in direct grants and funding to our member campuses. Here you can find funding opportunities available in the current academic year. This is in addition to the education awards we have disseminated through our AmeriCorps programs over the years.

MLK DAY OF SERVICE GRANT
NC Campus Engagement and fellow Partnership Alliance organizations across the country jointly received a three-year $250,000 Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service (AmeriCorps) to support student and community volunteer engagement activities for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (2024-2026).

We are now accepting applications for the 2025 MLK Day of Service.
Deadline: October 18, 2024
We are now accepting applications from NCCE member campuses to support activities related to the 2025 MLK Day of Service. Grants are available in increments in $1ooo, $2000, and $5000.

Media Literacy Tools
NCCE Executive Director, Leslie Garvin, was a UC Center for Free Speech 2022-23 Fellow. Her project focused on “Disrupting Mis and Disinformation in Higher Education.” She produced two documents to help campuses promote media literacy; 1) a website with resources and 2) an Issue Guide to facilitate dialogues about misinformation using the National Issues Forum deliberative dialogue model.
