The 2024 North Carolina Civic Health Index (NCCHI)
NCCE partnered with the National Conference on Citizenship and a group of North Carolina education partners to produce a new North Carolina Civic Health Index. The Index provides an in-depth analysis of North Carolina’s civic health and recommendations to strengthen it. This is the 4th report on civic health in North Carolina since 2003.

Request for Proposals
Submit a proposal for PACE on February 12, 2025. Standard sessions are invited in four tracks: capacity-building, pedagogy, research & theory, and community partnership development & sustainability. The 2025 special track is “Facilitating Civic and Democratic Engagement.” Deadline: November 15
Register for the Community Change Collegiate Challenge (4C)
November 9, 2024
4C will be back in-person for 2024 at Wake Forest University! Through this competition, student teams explore solutions to the most pressing community challenges. Winning teams receive cash prizes to support community engagement.
