The NC Campus Engagement state office fosters connections between campuses, shares best practice information and resources, recognizes outstanding work, and champions civic and community engagement in higher education.

The 2024 Civic Engagement Administrators Conference (CEAC)will open with a fireside chat featuring Dr. Marisol Morales, Executive Director of the Carnegie Elective Classifications, and Dr. Nancy Thomas, Executive Director of the Institute for Democracy & Higher Education (IDHE). You won’t want to miss it!
Carnegie in Action Workshop
June 12 at Elon University
We are partnering with ACE to host a regional workshop for campuses applying for the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement Elective Classification. Registration is $25 per person. Participants are encouraged to join us for CEAC the next day.

Engaged Faculty Scholar
We are now accepting applications for the next cohort of Engaged Faculty Scholars. Scholars receive support for a project that advances and deepens community engagement and/or the scholarship of engagement at their institution.
